Awesome selection of local, handmade goods. Every holiday and birthday, I hit up this shop for the most unique gifts. Check out the beautiful cutting boards they always seem to have by Steve Reid. I use them for host/ess gifts and they are a huge hit. T-shirt selection is perfect, something for everyone!

I really like this little shop. It has a lot of cute items from local artists and I feel good supporting them with my purchases. Plus, everything is very unique! I got the cutest fox art print to hang in my home from Sarah Draws Things

This is my go-to place for gifts for loved ones! I’ve gotten multiple candles here and every single person I’ve given them to says they loved it. They support and sell small artists work, so I love knowing I’m supporting small businesses by purchasing items here.

This cute shop located in Old City is just as charming as the neighborhood it resides in. When you enter the shop you are treated to a wide variety of locally made items that make great gifts. I always enjoy knowing where something is made and supporting local crafts people. The staff were very helpful and knowledgeable. There are a number of great Philly-centric items as well as unique jewelry and household items. I have bought a number of gifts from them and I plan on going back again. So, if you are visiting Philly or live there and need a gift for family or friends I highly recommend visiting them.

Absolutely loved this shop! Stopped by last weekend after reading about them in 111 Places in Philadelphia That You Must Not Miss. Staff were friendly, and the shop was full of tastefully curated and Philly-themed souvenirs. Good variety, and lots of carry-on friendly gifts. They have that good jawn 😊

Outstanding customer service. I called wondering if my order would be here by Christmas, even though the kind woman on the phone couldn’t guarantee my order would be here, she did the best she could do talk me through my holiday stress shopping and after asking what she would do if she were me, I placed my order in hopes it will be here by the holiday. I received my confirmation email and not even 20 minutes later received notice that my order was shipped out. Even if my order doesn’t get here by Christmas, I know that Philadelphia Independents does their best to make their customers, like me, happy:) Thank you very much for your kindness and humanity. Will be placing many many more orders with them:) Happy New year to all at Philadelphia Independents!

This is a double 5 star review! We stashed our luggage here, and it worked perfectly, and I felt totally secure leaving it! Seamless! And we picked up some excellent gifts in the store, that had lots of cute, local items. Recommend!

I arrived too early for check-in and was looking for a luggage storage and luckily I found this place. When I entered I immediately understood that I could rest easy for my luggage because I was welcomed by a very nice and kind young lady. The luggage storage service is offered in this very nice souvenir shop where there are very particular things different from the usual souvenir shops with a really kind service.
